Review

This review applies to version 1.2 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

Lately, new mobile phones have developed lots and lots of new features. Many of these new features include video streaming, high quality sound music `playback, agendas, web browsing, email, GPS and many more.

Now these wonderful devices (mobile phones) can play video files, so you won’t get bored while traveling by plane or riding on the train. This is possible thanks to the 3gp mobile video format.

Many of the new phones can record videos in 3gp format, it is like a native format for them and, since many of the phone platforms use it by default, it’s very common to find them on any mobile phone.

I won’t go into 3gp’s details, but, at this time, we only need to know that it is a simplified version of Apple’s Quicktime. In this way, small size videos can deliver a nice sharp image with good sound quality.

With Amond DVD to 3gp, the users can convert their DVDs to 3gp files, and store them in their mobile phones for future playback.

How this software works its quite simple, the user only needs to insert any DVD in the computer's drive, launch the program, select the video source, the destination file format, and in a couple of clicks more, the program is extracting the video files into a portable one.

It is really not a big deal using it.
Advantages
  • Nice, straightforward, easy to use, many output format options
Disadvantages
  • none.
